Here are my branding projects. These were created for class assignments and for personal branding for my illustration business. I used a more illustrative approach to the pictorial marks to create a fun image for these brands. The word marks were created in Adobe Illustrator and were either hand rendered or were modified versions of typefaces.

P22 Underground: Type Specimen Book
This booklet was created to analyze P22 Underground. I worked with the typeface and images to create a modern yet vintage feeling booklet that examined the history, usage, and type families of the typeface. This project was then printed and bound.
Gilly Gull: Fashion Branding Project
This branding and package project was created for an assignment for my Package Design class I took during my spring semester of my senior year of college. The brand I created was a clothing brand with an emphasis on natural materials and durability and comfort for wearers.
About the brand
Gilly Gull creates clothing for kids ages 3-9 that fosters both creativity and adventure. With bright colors, fun patterns, and silly, whimsical imagery, Gilly Gull clothing is perfect for kids who are curious about exploring tidepools and beaches and who aren’t afraid to get some sand in their shoes. Our clothing is made with natural materials such as cotton, linen, and wool to ensure comfort and durability. Gilly Gull is also happy to boast items made in the UK to support local farms.

About the Brand
Mini Menagerie brings joy to kids and kids-at-heart. With whimsical animal imagery and ornate decorations that call back to the whimsy of days long past, Mini Menagerie aims to bring a spark of delight to the monotony of daily life. Whether Mini Menagerie treats are special once in a while gifts or a part of your routine, the animals of the menagerie hope to brighten up your day with fun tea, chocolates, and candies. There is so much in store behind the gates of the Mini Menagerie!
Not only does Mini Menagerie help bring joy to people, but Mini Menagerie makes an effort to help animals around the world. Mini Menagerie uses recycled materials and donates portions of its profit to protect ecosystems and animals from deforestation and poaching.

About the Brand
Smiling Monkey Sparkling Water blends traditional Japanese flavors with a modern and bubbly experience for those interested in exploring flavors unfamiliar to them. Smiling Monkey Sparkling Water take flavors found in Japan such as ume plum, yuzu, and cherry blossom, and combines it with fresh and bubbly water. This playful beverage is perfect for those who enjoy trying new drinks and flavors. We hope our fizzy and fun drinks will introduce newcomers to Japanese flavors and a world of fun.

The Amplifier Logo
I was able to redesign the header for use on the Amplifier newsletter. I played off the idea of sound waves to emphasize the sense of amplification. I had fun experimenting with wavelength and the use of a decrease in opacity to further emphasize a sense of movement.
Creative MKE Logo
I was able to design the new logo for the Creative MKE podcast. I utilized brand colors and brand typography to create an eye-catching cover and logo for use on podcast platforms.

These were created for use on Imagine MKE’s social media. I created both horizontal and vertical formats for use on video content across social media platforms.

Let’s Go Crazy- Kinetic Type Music Video
This project was created for my Type II class. It was animated in Adobe After Effects with assets created in Adobe Illustrator. I was inspired by 80s aesthetics and typography from the record sleeve for the album.

Creative MKE- Kinetic Type Video for Social Media
This project was created for use on Imagine MKE’s social media accounts. I was able to select a segment from Creative MKE and create a kinetic type animation based off the segment. I animated this in Adobe After Effects.
